Our Founder

HIS DIVINE GRACE A.C. BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA

Srila Prabhupada (1896-1977), was an extraordinary personality who dedicated his life for teaching the world about Krishna consciousness, ancient India’s most noble message of spiritual wisdom. In 1965, at the age of 69, he sailed from India to New York to share Lord Krishna’s message, on the order of his spiritual master Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura, representing a line of teachers dating back to Lord Krishna Himself. Sri Radha Banbihari Temple was envisioned and nurtured under the able guidance of HH Radhanath Swami, one of Srila Prabhupada’s dear disciples

Temple Activities

Daily Aarti

Sri. Sri. Radhabanabihari Temple devotees perform Aarti with first Aarti starting at 4:30am and last Aarti by 8:30pm. All devotees, guests, pilgrims are welcome at Radhabanabihari Temple to attend these Aartis

Spiritual Discourses

Sri. Sri. Radhabanabihari Temple conducts discourses on Bhagwad Gita, Bhagwadam and Puranas take place on almost everyday basis. Devotees consider such classes as food for the soul and act as energy booster. We welcome devotees, pilgrims and guests for such classes

Prasadam

Sri. Sri. Radhabanabihari Temple does organise various events and prasadam, vegetarian foodstuff, is the key attraction for the devotees. The prasadam is considered as gift and mercy of the GOD. We welcome devotees, pilgrims and guests to seek GOD's mercy through prasadam
